Lots of uniquely flavorful foods, De Rican Sampler and Bandeja Boricua are both great for trying a lot of different items. Tostones are a bit bland, but everything else is fantastic, particularly enjoyed the Alcapurrias and Churrasco. Great cocktails all around - perfectly balanced coconut mojito and margarita, can't go wrong with sangria and De Rican Sunset as well. Ensalada de la Casa is very solid, and Mofongo and Trifongo are savory and delicious must-tries that were new to us, loved em! Had to get Tres Leches cake for dessert, excellent as well.

Very good Puerto Rican food. Taste just like a spot in Puerto Rico. Would definitely come back! The alcapurrias were so delicious!!!

The food at this place is wonderful. Everything we tried, from the starters to the main dishes, was authentic and tasteful. The atmosphere was normal, nothing out of the ordinary, and the decoration was nice. The biggest area of opportunity was the service. I had ordered a prosecco and it was served at room temperature. When I mentioned it to our server, she took it back to the bar and the bartender added ice to chill it and then removed it , obviously the effervescence was gone and the entire body of a prosecco was diluted. Overall, the experience was ok, but it was worth the tasteful dishes.

The wife and I visited De Rican for a lunch date. The atmosphere and service were great. We loved the appetizer and the entries we ordered. The portions were so generous that we had to get to go boxes for what we had left over. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best Trifongo in town!! I had it with shrimp in a red sauce and the pastel yummy

Would we go there again? Yes. Do I recommend this location? Yes. Me and my wife came here with a friend a few years ago as we were visiting from NJ. Our experience today had a couple of small disappointments, but overall it was a very nice experience. What were the small disappointments? Over-cooked sweet plantains and flavorless tostones. Everything else we ate was delicious. We ordered a delicious meat stuffed potato ball (relleno de papa) to start with. For me I ordered their yellow rice and beans along with fried pork skins and chicken, and steak with tasty onions on top. The portion filled my plate. My wife ordered white rice and beans with the steak and onions. There was too much to eat, and we couldn't finish everything so we brought some home. The people at this establishment are nice and friendly. It seemed to us that our server was kind of new but was trying hard to make our time pleasant. This location is clean and I noticed some of the decor could use replacing, but we were there to eat, so the decor wasn't my focus. We enjoyed our meals and if/when we come back I want to try other items in their menu. I wish I took a picture of my stuffed potato ball because it looked and tasted very good. I also have to include that I've eaten this at other places and most places don't have as much meat inside so this was a very good surprise. We also ordered adult beverages which we actually enjoyed and were well made.
